MOBILE 2024 is an open set of composed materials that create dynamic situations for interaction between the performers. This mobile is open on many levels: the choice of individual sounds, continuities between sounds, relations among performers, overall form, and even the specific instrumentation of the quartet.  The composed materials set out a game structure that the performers use to create a unique version of the work. The composed materials inform and focus the performers’ listening and reactions in each moment.
